Recently, we have experienced an increasing amount of vandalism to electric distribution transformers located on electricity poles. The growing numbers of vandalism and theft of oil, copper wiring and electricity power from the electric transformer are costly and difficult to protect.
Often thefts happen without attracting the attention of the local community or scaring away the vandals, and therefore organized response may be delayed.
AIO's system offers an overall security solution
to protect utility towers with specific sensitivity elements (such as electric transformers). The system protects the transformer oil tank surroundings and detects online oil level drop.
The systems is able to sense suspicious objects approaching in close vicinity to the transformer by using various security elements, such as: beam sensors
located between the electric pole's base, to alert any object crossing, shock detectors
which detect a vibration or shift of the transformer to a set degree, CCTV
able to capture & re-transmit video to the alarm control center and remote intercom from NOC to site. Once the suspicious object is identified, the system triggers various active security sensors
and deterrence elements, such as: siren
for an alarm, pepper spray, active smoke, projector, electric fence to attract the attention of the local community. The system also automatically sends SMS/Emails to preset mobile numbers during alarms.
AIO's solution offers management tools presenting location of utility towers network using our inventar system to manage assets
on site, preventive maintenance module
and advanced user-friendly management dashboards. The system provides online data analysis of network status per category (such as: alerts per vendor, technicians per alerts) at different layers, so that matrix of parameters will be presented on GIS (geographical interface) platform with drill down capabilities.
